Free Writing Workshops in Cardiff this May!

Get writing this May with Literature Wales’ programme of genre workshops at the Glyn Jones Centre in Cardiff. Free to attend, they are a great way to get to know some of Wales’ top authors, and feel inspired to create some new work. Places on the workshops are being snapped up so book now to avoid disappointment!

- Science-Fiction Writing Workshop
Wednesday 16 May, 7.00 - 9.00 pm
Science-fiction author Paul D. E. Mitchell will share his experience and knowledge of building sci-fi novels, with special attention to settings in this particular genre.

- Crime Writing Workshop
Thursday 24 May, 7.00 - 9.00 pm
Crime author Belinda Bauer will lead a practical workshop on writing plots for crime fiction and will reveal how to write fascinating beginnings and endings. Please Note: This workshop is now fully booked - contact Literature Wales to add your name to the reserve list.

- Modern Romance Writing Workshop
Wednesday 30 May, 7.00 - 9.00 pm
Join writer and reporter Jo Carnegie to explore the art of modern romance writing and learn how to create a whole range of specific characters for romance novels.

The workshops listed above are free to attend but places must be reserved in advance. There are limited places available for each workshop.

These workshops are part of Literature Wales’ programme of activity at the Glyn Jones Centre.
