Spine is the 'companion' to Walking the Block by Jane Weir, the unique poetic biography of the two designers and handblock printers, Phyllis Barron and Dorothy Larcher..

This new work explores the very different experiences of the two women and how this influenced their patterns and designs, as well a son their lives.

Walking the Block preceded Spine and the archive of their work compiled by Robin and Heather Tanner is described by Jane Weir as Phyllis Barron and Dorothy Larchers' auto/biography on cloth, not paper.

NIGEL McLOUGHLIN & KATHLEEN JONES AT THE LAMB & FLAG, WORCESTER: WEDNESDAY 18th APRIL From 7.30pm

Chora is Nigel McLoughlin's latest poetry collection and includes selected poetry from his previous four collections as well as a selection of new work.

Nigel McLoughlin is Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Gloucestershire and the Editor of Iota Poetry.

Not Saying Goodbye at Gate 21 is Kathleen Jones' first full collection of poetry and one of the winners in the 2011 Straid Poetry Collection Awards.

Kathleen Jones is a biographer and poet and her published work includes A Glorious Fame, A Passionate Sisterhood and most recently Katherine Mansfield: The Story Teller
